Chelsea Flower Show 20th - 24th of May
The Chelsea Flower Show first started in 1852 & was originally called The Royal Horticultural Society's Great Spring Show, the show was renamed & relocated in 1913, today the show lasts for 5 days & is held in the grounds of the Royal Hospital, Chelsea, the show attracts 157,000 visitors each year, a number limited by the capacity of the 11 acre ground. There are four different categories, stylish, bold, chic gardens & courtyard gardens, all for rural, semi rural, roof gardens & city gardens. Top designers from around the world showcase their skills with a 20 garden show, while up and coming designers preview their talents in smaller garden designs, there are also over 100 floral displays, Plant breeders like to launch new plants here to. Visitors will be spoiled for choice for garden equipment as there is a wide range to choose from. All tickets will need to be purchased in advance.
