Thames Festival 15th - 16th of September

The Mayor's Thames Festival is an annual even thats been running since 1997 & takes place over two days on the banks of the river Thames between Tower Bridge & Westminster. The Thames Festival is a free open air arts festival that celebrates the river Thames & London, the festival aims to educate & transform peoples thinking about the river Thames & London, People are generally encouraged to not just watch but to take part with the activities. The celebrations feature street theatre, live music, street arts, art installations, dancers, riverside market, childen's activities, fireworks display, workshops & much more. Upto 800,000 people are expected to take part.
